Ketika Harga Tas Chanel Meroket, Saatnya Beralih ke Tas Klasik ‘Baru’

Beberapa waktu lalu, Chanel sempat menggemparkan para penggemarnya dengan menaikkan kembali harga tas klasik mereka. Sejak akhir 2019, harga untuk tas klasik Chanel tersebut naik hampir 2/3 kali dari harganya semula. Berdasarkan fakta dari Bloomberg, lewat data yang dimiliki oleh Jefferies Group, tas flap Chanel berukuran kecil, harganya naik 60 persen menjadi USD 8,200 atau sekitar 111 juta rupiah. 

Menurut konfirmasi dari pihak Chanel, kenaikan harga ini disebabkan oleh berbagai macam faktor. Yang paling utama dikarenakan adanya perubahan harga produksi agar setiap tas yang tersebar di seluruh dunia memiliki tingkat kualitas yang sama. Di sisi lain, sejumlah pihak memprediksi bahwa Chanel sedang mengincar status ‘Hermès’ untuk model klasiknya.

Kenaikan harga ini menuai sambutan pro dan kontra di kalangan pecinta fashion. Ada yang mengatakan hal ini membuat Chanel terkesan makin eksklusif dalam artian positif. Di lain pihak, para pengagum Chanel yang sudah menabung harus bersabar lebih lama untuk mendapatkan tas impian mereka. Namun, sebagai alternatif, ketika tas klasik Chanel mulai sulit digapai, ada beberapa model tas desainer lain yang layak menjadi bidikan investasi dan gaya.

Baik tipe padded maupun bukan, tas Casette persembahan Bottega Veneta kini sedang digandrungi. Tas ini pun memiliki bentuk yang sederhana namun tetap bercita rasa khas hingga membuat rupanya terus disanjung oleh para kolektor tas sejati.
