Survei Menunjukkan Gaya Santai dengan Luaran Masih Akan Populer di Tahun 2022

Selama pandemi kita lebih banyak melakukan segala sesuatu di rumah dan menghindari keramaian. Work from home (WFH) yang dilakukan untuk beradaptasi dengan situasi pandemi pun menjadi bagian dari new normal atau kenormalan baru yang dialami banyak orang. Adaptasi era kenormalan baru ini tentu memengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat, yang menurut survei yang dilakukan Populix, kondisi ini ternyata turut berpengaruh pada gaya berpakaian.
 
“Dengan berbagai kebijakan terkait pembatasan fisik dan bekerja atau belajar dari rumah guna mengurangi penyebaran virus Covid-19, kini sebagian besar responden menyatakan bahwa mereka tidak terlalu mengikuti tren fesyen, tetapi lebih mengutamakan kenyamanan dalam gaya berpakaian mereka,” ujar Timothy Astandu, Chief Executive Officer Populix.

Loungewear jadi populer

Populix merupakan sebuah layanan survei konsumen berbasis digital, yang baru-baru ini membagikan hasil survei “Indonesia in 2022: Looking at Fashion Trends & Economy Revival.” Survei ini membahas seputar prediksi tren fesyen dan kebangkitan ekonomi di Indonesia, yang salah satu hasilnya adalah baik responden laki-laki maupun perempuan memilih gaya berpakaian yang sederhana (73%) serta kasual (68%). Salah satu tren yang populer dan digemari banyak orang sepanjang pandemi yaitu loungewear atau pakaian rumahan bersiluet longgar.

Gaya retro

Survei ini juga menunjukkan lebih lanjut bahwa gaya vintage lebih diminati oleh responden perempuan. Gaya vintage adalah cara berpakaian yang mengusung mode fashion tahun 20-an hingga tahun 60-an. Pada praktiknya, kegemaran belanja dengan cara thrifting pun mengangkat kembali popularitas gaya retro atau cara berpakaian yang mengulang gaya yang pernah populer pada masa lalu—termasuk gaya vintage dan Y2K. Istilah retro sendiri berasal dari kata retrograde yang berarti bergerak mundur.

Wajib punya: outerwear

Hasil survei lain yang dibagikan Populix yaitu bahwa 80% responden menyatakan mereka akan mengutamakan kenyamanan berpakaian, sementara 56% responden lebih memilih gaya pakaian yang sederhana. Untuk mendukung preferensi gaya berpakaian tersebut, outerwear atau luaran pun menjadi fashion item wajib punya. Outerwear juga diprediksi masih akan digemari orang-orang di tahun 2022.

Situasi pandemi membuat orang-orang jadi lebih santai dalam memilih gaya berbusana. Dalam hal alas kaki, pilihan alas kaki pun dipertimbangkan atas prioritas terhadap kenyamanan pemakainya. Baik responden laki-laki dan perempuan sama-sama memilih sneakers sebagai alas kaki yang akan dipakai tahun 2022, diikuti dengan sandal jepit dan sepatu slip-on.
