Paris Fashion Week telah dimulai, diawali dengan penampilan koleksi pakaian pria musim gugur/dingin 2023. DEWI telah memilih 5 koleksi desainer yang menampilkan koleksinya pada musim ini, mulai dari show dari Saint Laurent, lalu dilanjutkan dengan koleksi terbaru dari Louis Vuitton yang berkolaborasi dengan desainer Amerika Colm Dillane, Dior yang mengambil inspirasi dari koleksi tahun 1958 oleh Yves Saint Laurent, estetika musik rave dari Dries van Noten, serta lipatan klasik dari Issey Miyake.

Koleksi pakaian pria Musim Gugur/Musim Dingin 2023 dari Saint Laurent dipenuhi oleh ragam warna monokromatik mulai dari putih, krem, coklat muda, abu-abu, sampai hitam. Masih dengan rancangan siluet yang bersih dan minimalis, rancangan busana kali ini menawarkan fluiditas busana pria dalam potongan mantel panjang, paneled pants, jas, dan kemeja dengan detail kerah lebar atau pita besar. 3. Dior
Direktur kreatif Dior, Kim Jones, memberikan penghormatan kepada Yves Saint Laurent dengan mengambil inspirasi dari koleksi Musim Semi/Musim Panas 1958 miliknya. Kim Jones mengadaptasi jahitan off-the-shoulder dan teknik jahit maskulin dan feminin tradisional yang kemudian disulap menjadi siluet modern dengan gaya streetwear. Dipenuhi dengan detail motif halus seperti bunga tiga dimensi di seluruh jahitan pakaian hangat, monogram CD dalam renda pada potongan kardigan berkancing mutiara, dan ikatan di lengan jaket dan kemeja. Selain itu, siluet tebal dalam bentuk celana panjang berpotongan lebar dan klit berlipat menciptakan perspektif baru untuk estetika busana pria modern.

4. Dries Van Noten
Musik selalu menjadi elemen penting bagi Dries Van Noten. Kali ini, musik rave menjadi inspirasi utama. Interpretasi rave bagi Dries Van Noten digambarkan dalam motif flora dan fauna, bakiak berbulu menyerupai fauna, jaket puffer besar dengan pola abstrak, celana kargo era 90-an dengan pola psikedelik, dan rajutan halus dengan warna merah daging yang dipadukan dengan kain berwarna tanah. Ada juga motif bunga yang terinspirasi dari gambar-gambar yang terlihat di perpustakaan Meise Botanic Garden, Belgia, dalam pakaian rajut dan jaket bomber. Warna cerah yang berani mewarnai koleksi ini namun juga dipadukan dengan warna pastel untuk menciptakan kehalusan dan menyeimbangi palet warna yang muncul. Motif dan pola yang hidup dilambangkan sebagai ekspresi diri dan kebebasan.

5. Homme Plissé Issey Miyake
Serangkaian koleksi bertajuk “Upon a Simplex” yang ditampilkan oleh Homme Plissé Issey Miyake merupakan hasil eksplorasi bentuk-bentuk geometris dan segitiga yang jika digabungkan menjadi bentuk yang semakin kompleks. Bentuk dan elemen sudut lainnya ini kemudian diolah dan dimanipulasi menjadi potongan pakaian dengan pola yang rumit, seperti gaya kepompong dengan lipatan poliester, yang menggambarkan sifat dinamis pakaian yang bebas bergerak. Lipatan klasik khas Issey Miyake juga hadir dalam bentuk celana lipat, kemeja dan mantel tanpa lengan, dan lipatan yang lebih besar dan longgar yang jatuh dari bahu pada pakaian luar berbahan nilon.
