Skincare dan Perawatan Kulit Area Mata Agar Wajah Tampak Awet Muda

Perawatan kulit khusus di sekitar area mata kerap terlupakan, padahal kulit di sekitar mata tak memiliki kelenjar minyak dan kolagen seperti halnya area lain di wajah kita. Ini menyebabkan kulit di sekitar mata menjadi sangat mudah mengalami kekeringan, kulit mengendur, munculnya garis-garis halus, bahkan keriput.
 
“Kulit di sekitar mata adalah salah satu area paling tipis, paling sensitif, di tubuh kita. Menurut Lauren, beberapa masalah yang disebabkan faktor keturunan seperti kantung mata pun bisa makin kentara jika tak dirawat dengan baik. Ia juga memberikan beberapa tips perawatan kulit di sekitar mata berikut ini agar wajah tampak segar dan awet muda.

1. Gunakan krim khusus mata

Tak adanya kelenjar minyak dan kolagen menyebabkan kulit di sekitar mata menjadi sangat mudah mengalami kekeringan, kulit mengendur, munculnya garis-garis halus, bahkan keriput. Selalu gunakan krim mata yang diformulasikan khusus agar bisa meresap dengan baik sehingga mampu memberikan hidrasi yang cukup. Kulit area mata yang lembap akan membuat tampilan wajah jadi lebih segar berseri.

2. Pilih kandungan anti-aging

Anda bisa menggunakan moisturizer wajah biasa untuk perawatan kulit di sekitar mata. Namun hindari memakai skincare wajah dengan bahan aktif seperti retinoid karena konsentrasinya yang kuat untuk area ini. Untuk skincare pagi hari, Green menyarankan krim mata yang mengandung teh hijau, yang bermanfaat antioksidan agar kulit terlindung dari penuaan dini.

3. Lakukan pemijatan

Selain faktor genetis, retensi cairan karena banyak konsumsi garam dan kurang tidur juga menyebabkan munculnya kantung mata.
